The Kotare is an overstable high speed driver that will provide you with a predictable flight no matter what the conditions. High power drives will glide but not turn and have a long slow Fade, while Anhysers will give a nice full flight with an S-curve. The Kotare makes an excellent Flick disc with a slightly deeper rim than the Kahu and is PDGA credited to 176g making it a great choice for head wind drives.
The Kotare comes in 3 different plastic types:
- Atomic: The beautiful swirly colour discs are all Atomic plastic - medium firmness, similar to Innova Star and Discraft ESP plastic.
- Cosmic: Opaque plastic - firm, slightly gummy and damage resistant. Similar to Innova Champion plastic.
- Platinum: The very best atomic discs, hand picked by the boys at RPM after each run. These are decorated with a special edition platinum bottom stamp.
